Tom's Diner (Cover)

Damn, another one? yuup. This one took me hella long. I had to chop up Suzanne Vega's part and that was a task. I also had to throw a little Peter, Bjorn & John in there too for all of my indie folk out there. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for taking the time out to listen to my creations. Have a good one.

A Clockwork Orange

Brilliant movie that everyone should see. I'm mad at myself for waiting so long to see it. Malcolm McDowell elevated himself into one of my favorite actors of all time off this performance alone. His charcter Alex starts out as the villain but by the end you have to feel bad for him. All I can say is that this is a must see movie. One of my favorites.
1988

I've been gone for a while but now I'm back. I haven't been excited about a mixtape in a long while but I just downloaded Mick Boogie's remixed version of Adele's classic album 19. It is 19 mashed up with different 80s beats. I love Adele already and her album is amazing but this mixtape makes me love her even more. If this wasn't a free mixtape I would gladly pay retail for it. It's that good. If you haven't heard it yet please go pick it up. It wont disappoint.
Best track in my opinion is "Make You Feel My Love"

Across the Universe
I can't wait for this. I need to see one of their shows. I heard they're amazing live. On the teaser it says it released November 24th but I tried to order it and the website said it doesn't release until December 9th.

Adverts...
In my honest opinion Nike Soccer has the best commercials so I'm just going to post some of my favorites.
American sports need to promote their athletes more, especially football. Most NFL superstars aren't recognizable to the average person without their pads on and that needs to change. The only player that gets Superstar treatment by the media is Peyton Manning. He's in more commercial than any other player in the NFL. The NBA does a good job of promoting individual athletes but not as well as soccer does. I would like to see more American athletes in adverts like these.

The Pink Panther
Greatest commercial ever! Franck is the man for this one. I would buy these if they had them in my size even though I don't play soccer. They're that nice.

Heartless
This is my favorite song off 808's and Heartbreaks so far. I'm a big fan of cartoons so I really like the direction he took for this video. Hype Williams has been doing his thing as of late. I'm still not feeling the whole concept of Kanye's album but we'll see how it goes. Still not feeling the auto tune though.
Brandy Alexander
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artists. Feist had one of the best albums of 2007 in "The Reminder" if you have time you should give the whole album a listen. This song is one of the highlights off of a superb album. Check it out.

A Trip Back To Memory Lane
Shout outs to Hector for making this video in class back during senior year. I was dying when this first came out. It's hard to believe its almost been 3 years since this vid was made. Oh yeah shout outs to Mr. Hanley too his Western Philosophy class was decent. If you don't know who Mr. Hanley is, he's the dude that walks past the camera and just smiles. Those were the days.
We Gettin' A-Rab Money?
This is too funny. But in all honesty, knowing the current market I think this song will be a hit.

Trouble Sleeping...

I've been on a little bit of a hiatus but now I'm back. I'm having a little bit of trouble sleeping so I decided to write. The picture above has nothing to do with what I have to say it's just so damn ignorant and flashy that I love it. No man should have that much money. Anyway, I will be back to the daily updates, I think. A song that I think everyone should give atleast one spin is "Sooner Than Later" by Drake. I hate the autotune but he does his thing on this song. Lyrics, beat, vibe, everything on this track is damn near perfect and I think almost everyone can relate to what he he has to say. So until next time, here it is:
